Tuesday's Agenda

Yesterday we met with Sally's radiation doctor who indicated that they continue to be concerned about possible bone fracture. She had a CT scan of the hip to get a clearer image of what is going on there. We will receive results today.

We are scheduled to meet with our Lung Cancer Oncologist on Thursday to discuss recent findings, and possible therapies for Sally to consider. Our children will join us for this appointment on Thursday.

We are looking forward to a routine treatment today at 3PM, and returning to our apartment for rest, however, we will get to visit with Jim Bolt who is scheduled for an appointment here at Johns Hopkins at 3PM today also..

  2. Hi Sally & Dick,

Our thoughts & prayers go to you both each day and hope things can improve so you are feeling better, Sally.

You are at the best place for good care and treatment. Good some can stop by and see you. I just missed Heather by a few days and you guys by about a week. I was there for my eye check up on the 20th. All was stable, so I get to wait until July before my next trip down.

I know you are keeping a good spirit, a positive outlook on all of this and that helps. Know that others care and love you both!!!

  4. In case you're interested in my version of the Tuesday PM's update.

About 6:45 PM I roll in to Hopkins say hi to Mom and Dad, and grab Dad and go out to pick up dinner while Mom rests on the couch. We come back and the 3 of us eat dinner while taking a couple calls from friends and family (which are much appreciated). After dinner- Mom moves back to the couch to rest- maybe even sleep? Dad and I are talking to Ron on the phone. Mom's listening- or is she sleeping?

As we talk- I break out the Cheesecake Factory Godiva Chocolate desert- and wouldn't you know it- Ole Mom comes snorting off the couch to get her piece...

Just a peak from 'behind the scenes.'-

Thanks to all for your kind words of encouragement- Tim

  5. I check your site often and am always glad when there is something new there, and this morning's check really made me chuckle when I read Tim's version! So, keep up the versions of the front line efforts, and the behind the scenes happenings, too!
